Helpful tips for working with hand-dyed yarn:
-Always purchase the total amount of yarn you will need at the same time. Hand-dyed yarn is variable by nature and you may notice slight differences between batches. If you purchase the total amount of yarn you will need for your project at the same time, we can ensure that your yarn comes from the same batch. We take extra care to send similar skeins when an order contains multiples of a colorway.
-If your project requires more than one skein of a colorway, we recommend alternating skeins every other row, or every few rows, from the beginning of your project. Alternating skeins throughout your project will help you avoid color pooling and it will give your project a more cohesive look overall.
How should I wash my hand-dyed yarn projects?
We recommend always washing your hand-dyed yarn projects by hand in cool to lukewarm water with your favorite wool wash. Alternatively, you could also use a very small amount of Dawn dish soap. Never wash your hand-dyed yarn in hot water as hot water can sometimes break the bonds between the dye and the fiber. Always lay your projects flat to dry. We do not recommend putting your yarn projects into the dryer.
Please note, a small amount of color bleeding is normal during the first couple washes. If color bleeding persists after a few washes, please contact us.
I placed an order, when will my yarn arrive?
Turnaround times for dyeing and shipping are included in every single listing in our shop. Typically, a standard dyed-to-order yarn will ship within 2-3 weeks of your order date. Pre-Orders for Countdown Calendars typically have a longer turnaround time- the date calendars will ship by is always included in the listing information. Please be sure to double check the shipping information included in the listing before you place your order. :)

The best way to contact us is via email or the contact form located on our Contact page. We strive to answer emails and messages within 48 hours.
Do you offer returns or refunds?
Please contact us immediately if there is a problem with your order and we will do our best to remedy the situation. If you would like to return your purchase, you (the buyer) are responsible for return shipping costs. Yarn must be returned in its original condition- yarn that has been caked or wound into a ball is not eligible for a return. Additionally, "mystery" colorways (ex- yarn club colorways that you don't see until they arrive to you) and sale items are not eligible for return.
